While it’s tempting to shout out NEW YEAR, NEW ME, I’d prefer to shout out THIS IS THE YEAR OF PROSPERITY AND NEVER-ENDING HAPPINESS!
I’m more than confident that 2019 will be a continuation of everything I started in 2018.
Here’s a quick recap of 2018!
Last year, with the grace of God, I left a “safe” job to pursue the beginnings of my wildest dreams. I weathered insane storms, launched House of Chiemela, partnered with awesome brands, began working in the tech space, met some spectacular people, released dead weight, watched loved ones embark on new journeys in life, and started making money as a creative.
In 2018, God blessed me beyond belief, and I didn’t even know it until I began to count my blessings! That aspect of 2018 will definitely change in 2019.

As an accountability tool, I am going to share an abbreviated version of my wishes for 2019 right here. That way when 2020 comes around, I can look back at this post and see what we accomplished.
In 2019, I hope to:
- Develop a stronger relationship with God;
- Display my gratitude for all of my blessings immediately;
- Implement processes to scale House of Chiemela (i.e. HoC is going to blow up in 2019);
- Create content that entertains, inspires/motivates, and assists wantrepreneurs and creatives;
- Give back to the community; and
- Live life to the fullest
In 2019, I pray we (yes, me and you) accomplish all the desires of our hearts. I pray we fulfill our God-given purposes. I pray we all get to experience real joy and happiness with the people we love.
In 2019, may our cup runneth over!
