How to Grow Two Inches of Hair in Two Months

If you water it, it will grow!

Yup, that’s the approach I’m taking when it comes to hair care, skincare, and self-care during these odd times. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, give me a second to clue you in.

Today,

  • We’re experiencing a global pandemic;
  • Tons of cities and countries have shutdown and mandated their citizens to stay at home;
  • Tons of people are getting infected and dying; and
  • The economy is tanking

Initially, I was calm. I thought this would all blow over, and then panic set in when I started to appreciate the full social and economic impact of this pandemic.

Fast forward, I’m calm again. Why?

Because for the first time, in a long time, I can slow down and focus! Focus on my faith, family, healthy, career goals, entrepreneurial aspirations, and my HAIR GOALS!

Yup, I said it – HAIR GOALS!

Over the next two months, I’m going to grow two inches of thick healthy Type 4 hair. And here’s how I’m going to do it:

No. 1 – Join Melissa Denise’s Hair Growth Challenge

Sis has phenomenal, long, voluminous, healthy hair. So, I joined her Hair Growth Regimen Challenge because she’s clearly doing something right.

I also joined Melissa’s Hair Growth Challenge Facebook Group so that I could embark on this journey with other like-minded women. Sometimes we need accountability partners or someone to give you advice about what products to use or how to use certain products. I figured this Facebook group would be the perfect way to garner the support I need achieve my hair growth goals.

No. 2 – Take Hair Vitamins

They say healthy hair starts from within. So, I’ll be taking the Shedavi Hair Skin Nails Whole Food Vitamins to supplement my diet during the first month of this challenge. I tried these vitamins in the past and they work; so I decided to use them again.

No. 3 – Perform Scalp Massages with a Hair Growth Oil

I will use all kinds of scalp oils during this challenge, but I’m starting with the Shedavi Hair and Scalp Growth Elixir because Shedavi gifted it to me and I want to see if it actually works.

No. 4 – Drink a Gallon of Water

Go big or go home, especially when it comes to hair and skin goals.

Water is essential for hydrating your body, flushing out toxins, regulating your body’s organs, and transporting nutrients (at least so I think). Almost equally important, I noticed that people with long healthy hair and flawless skin drink tons of water.

So, I decided to go big and ordered this Giotto Water Bottle from Amazon to help me hit my daily water intake goals.

No. 5 – Exercise At Least Three Times a Week and Eat Healthily

Exercising helps with blood circulation. Healthy foods nourish your body.

Blood Circulation to the Scalp + Proper Nutrients = Hair Growth

Here’s my starting point:

Let me know what you do to promote healthy hair growth!

xoxo,
Michelle Ijeoma
